Searching the human genome for both germline and somatic variant DNA using an updated version of our GPScanner, unlimited by restrictions in reading frame or direction.

Abstract
The original AI simulation model (March 2023 APS JJ05.00007, March 2024 APS BB02.00006) has been designed to include possible variant proteins encountered in any reading frame and direction of the DNA sample. Six different reading frames of DNA exist (three in one direction and three in the other). Selected sequences are translated, and all primary chains are reported for evaluation. Kozak Consensus ratings for strength of gene expression are provided with each case for comparison. Deviations from the standard selection criteria may be meaningful.
The microRNA (miRNA) is a key regulator of gene expression for many biological processes such as cell metabolism or defending against pathogenic attack. Molecules of miRNA support gene regulation by binding to targeted messenger RNA (mRNA) and blocking it from making proteins. The suppression of mRNA translation by miRNA likely occurs during the initiation scanning step of the 40S ribosome. Studies of microRNA may reveal new paths to treatment for breast cancer and other diseases that have been steadily rising to include younger patients. Development of mRNA vaccines was an important factor in limiting the spread of Covid-19. The GPScanner can assist to provide information and data to such research.
The simulation software is flexible, and we can prepare a stand-alone report. For example, we are preparing to search the genome to determine whether SNPs can affect control of active reading frames (single-nucleotide polymorphisms - a variation at a single nucleotide).
