How to Teach about Nuclear Weapons
ORAL
Abstract
Since the inception of nuclear weapons technology, physicists have been vocally engaged in conversations about the ethics and future of nuclear bombs. However, discussions about this history and these weapons are generally not included in the typical undergraduate physics curriculum. We will discuss research-based approaches to teaching about nuclear weapons, some curricular options that are available, as well as places within traditional courses where these topics could be incorporated.
