Plasma Source Development

POSTER

Abstract

A 100 kW class lanthanum-hexaboride plasma source is under continuing development for the Lockheed Martin Compact Fusion Reactor program. The current experiment, T4B, has become a test bed for plasma source operation with the goal of creating a high density plasma target for neutral beam heating. We present operation and performance of different plasma source geometries, results of plasma source coupling, and future plasma source development plans. \copyright 2017 Lockheed Martin Corporation.
