Electronic stopping power in perovskites for space applications
ORAL
Abstract
Electronic stopping power describes the energy transfer rate to electrons in material during ion irradiation. We calculate electronic stopping power in triple-cation perovskites (formamidinium, methylammonium, and cesium). These materials have some of the highest power conversion efficiencies for perovskite-based photovoltaics. From simulations we can estimate the stopping process of ions and this would have implications for the use of photovoltaic devices for space missions.
