Abstract
In this talk I will share my experience from my time on the Committee on Physics in Two-Year Colleges of the AAPT during the transition to remote teaching in 2020. I will highlight some of the resources and knowledge gathered through weekly zoom meetings, such as alternative assessments and remote lab activities. Long before 2020, ideas and inspiration collected at AAPT-related meetings and workshops shaped my views of what it is to be a good educator. I will be showcasing a few of the ideas I have adopted in my classes and at my institution.
