Asteroseismology of 45 New Pulsating White Dwarfs Discovered by TESS

Abstract
Asteroseismology is the most advanced technique for studying stellar interiors. Romero et al. (2022) published the discovery of 74 new pulsating white dwarf stars using the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). We used the published pulsation periods to perform an asteroseismological analysis of 45 of these stars, which are multi-periodic variables. By comparing each star's observed pulsation periods to models from the White Dwarf Evolution Code (WDEC) grid, we determined the effective temperature, mass, and hydrogen envelope mass. These results were then compared with independent determinations, such as those from Gaia photometry. In this talk, we will present our results and a quantitative external uncertainty compared to independent asteroseismology studies.
