Formulation of a Numerical Framework to Analyze Jet Substructures at the Electron-Ion Collider
POSTER
Abstract
The application of jets, collimated sprays of color-neutral hadrons, and jet substructures, internal observables of the jet, at the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) for hadronic studies is a current area of interest that remains open to exploration. This research considers jets in electron-proton scattering and aims to develop precision calculations at the EIC using Collinear Factorization in perturbative QCD (pQCD) at Next-to-Leading (NLO). These analyses explore physics opportunities for utilizing jet substructure observables in studies concerning the internal structure of hadrons and the process of hadronization.
