The process of beta decay in a stellar medium
POSTER
Abstract
Beta radiation consists of negatively charged electrons and participates in electromagnetic fields. The presence of the interaction of electrons with the medium changes the properties of electrons and it affects the beta decay rate. The modification of the decay rate in different stellar media is studied to understand the structure and composition of stars.
