Dynamical Dark Energy and Modified Gravity Results from DESI and other cosmological datasets: Persistent Challenges to the Cosmology Standard Model.
ORAL
Abstract
I will present cosmology results from the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) measurements of the Baryon Acoustic Oscillations (BAO) and the full shape galaxy power spectrum in combination with other cosmological datasets. The results particularly include new stringent constraints on the dark energy equation of state, the Hubble parameter, spatial curvature, and neutrino mass. Dark Energy results indicate a time evolving equation of state and are in tension with the cosmological constant of the standard model of cosmology. Also, results about testing deviations from the general relativity theory of gravity will be presented. I conclude with some brief comments on implications from our results.
