Recent research activities on thermal conversion of Solar energy: materials, processes, technologies and applications.

Abstract
Presented the results of ongoing projects on thermal conversion of Solar energy. Recent obtained results: a) materials – on properties analysis of polymeric materials for using in development of solar thermal applications (STA), characteristics of nanofluids based on CNT nanoparticles for using as a heat transfer fluid in STA, thermo-physical characteristics of phase change materials (PCM) for using as a thermal storages of STA; b) processes – simulation methods, study of heat and mass transfer processes occurring in corresponding parts of STA under specific conditions; c) technologies – using of different technologies on development of STA design, solar energy conversion, storage and transfer; d) applications – effective utilization of different STA in different sectors of the economy.
