Tilted dipolar bosons coupled to high fitness cavity

Abstract

We investigate the zero-temperature phase diagrams of hard-core dipolar bosons at half-filling in a two-dimensional square optical lattice. The dipoles, aligned parallel to each other, are tilted out of the lattice plane by an external electric field. Our study reveals that at zero temperature, the system remains superfluid for all tilt angles up to a critical threshold of dipolar interaction. Beyond this threshold, distinct phases such as checkerboard and supersolid phases emerge. Additionally, for larger tilt angles, the system enters an unstable phase, which can be stabilized by the harmonic potential, leading to the formation of specific configurations.
