Large Negative Differential Resistance in a Multi-Terminal Josephson Junction

Abstract

Multi-terminal Josephson junctions (MTJJs) have gained increasing research interest as a platform for mesoscopic superconductivity. In this talk, I will present our experimental results on a novel MTJJ structure fabricated with graphene, in which we observed a large negative differential resistance (NDR) effect. The NDR is tunable by gate voltage and multiple current biases. It is reproducible across different materials, gate designs, and superconducting contacts. We will also discuss potential physical mechanisms that can produce this effect.
