Topological anomalous Floquet photon pump
ORAL
Abstract
Topological phases such as the Thouless pump have strict requirements, such as adiabaticity, to remain robust. In contrast, anomalous Floquet topological pumps are more stable, working natively in the non-adiabatic regime. These topological pumps have not been realized experimentally due to model complexity. Here, we propose a simple and feasible circuit QED protocol, the anomalous Floquet photon pump, which achieves non-adiabatic topological photon pumping with a single qubit. This system exhibits a non-trivial topological phase protected by frequency-space localization and can be implemented in current experiments, with pumping measured via cavity Wigner functions.
