Title:Oral: Novel Methods of Magnon Control in 2D-vdW Antiferromagnets
ORAL
Abstract
In recent years 2D-vdW antiferromagnetic semiconductors have emerged as a promising platform in which exotic regimes of magnon dynamics, such as topological transport or super-diffusivity, may be realized. Here we will report on development of an all-optical ultrafast technique that allows us to both capture and manipulate the full spatial-temporal dynamics of these systems. Utilizing this technique we have been able to detect previously unseen magnetic excitations, while further engineering novel behaviors of antiferromagnetic magnons.
