Momentum space method for multi-walled incommensurate carbon nanotubes
ORAL
Abstract
Moiré physics has yielded exotic many-body effects including correlated insulators and superconductivity. To understand many-body models, a thorough understanding of the single-particle picture is critical as the single-particle basis is used to construct two-body models. Here we introduce an algorithm using momentum space, the analogue of momentum space for moiré 2D materials, to construct quasi-band structure for multi-walled carbon nanotubes. Particularly, we focus on the case where the chirality of the nanotubes results in moiré patterns.
