Abstract
The presence of charge-density-wave (CDW) order is a ubiquitous feature in the complex phase diagrams of high-Tc cuprates, fueling ongoing efforts to scrutinize the true intertwining of CDW with superconducting order. Despite decades of research and numerous findings, it is still in the early stages of delivering its fully reconciled picture. In this regard, we revisited the striped CDW order using a resonant soft x-ray scattering on the La-based cuprates. Through comprehensive datasets and in-depth analytic insights, we were successfully able to unveil hidden implications that challenge the conventional view of CDW as merely a competitor to superconductivity. Our results deliver a nuanced relationship where CDW and superconductivity are intricately intertwined, ultimately reconciling previous observations. Detailed findings and their implications will be discussed in the presentation.
