High fidelity continuous wave entanglement for mobile quantum communication
POSTER
Abstract
To enhance the functionality and flexibility of quantum networks, there is a growing interest in exploring mobile quantum communication systems using drones and satellites. These platforms offer the potential for dynamic, reconfigurable quantum networks that can adapt to changing communication needs. Entanglement sources of low size, weight and power are essential for deployment on such mobile platforms. Here we report the development of an energy time entanglement source that fits the above requirements. Here by exploiting the recent advancements of low jitter superconducting nanowire single photon detectors (SNSPDs) and stable interferometers, we report visibilities exceeding 99%.
