Characterization of atomically thin PtTe2 and their Cr alloys for electronic transport devices

POSTER

Abstract

We show our current results characterizing the thickness of thin crystals of PtTe2 through atomic force microscopy (AFM) and Raman spectroscopy. Additionally, we present our ongoing efforts at fabricating electronic devices of the CrxPt1-xTe2 family of materials. By informing our sample fabrication with these two techniques, we are able to improve our sample throughput for electronic transport measurements at low temperatures.
