Oral:Simplifying the Schrieffer-Wolff transformation II: Introducing PySW
ORAL
Abstract
The Schrieffer-Wolff transformation (SWT), which simplifies Hamiltonians by approximately mapping them to low-energy effective forms, is sometimes challenging to implement, particularly for infinite-dimensional systems. Building on our recently developed framework, we introduce PySW, an open-source (python) tool that automates the derivation of the SWT generator for arbitrary systems without heuristic assumptions or truncations. PySW accommodates intricate Hamiltonians, handles time-periodic perturbations, and supports multi-dimensional systems, thus enhancing the applications of SWT and its generalizations (multi-block, full diagonalization, etc...) across diverse quantum systems.
