How Quantum Physics Intersects with Art
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
This talk is based on my experiences participating in two art contests organized by the Center for Quantum Nanoscience, South Korea. As a bridge between the art community and quantum physics, I had the opportunity to share insights of quantum mechanics with artists, engage in meaningful discussions, and witness their deep interest in the intersection of art and science. Throughout this process, I have gained valuable lessons, and in this talk, I will focus on two key themes: how to make a two-way communication between art and science, and why it matters. Additionally, I will highlight the process of my collaborative project to create artwork with one of the award-winning artists from the contest.
