Characterization of polarity-reversible Nb/Pt Josephson supercurrent diodes
ORAL
Abstract
Non-reciprocal electronic components play a key role in noise protection for quantum computing readout and control. Traditional devices require an external magnetic field to generate break the time-reversal symmetry required to generate a charge-current asymmetry. Novel devices have demonstrated breaking of inversion and time-reversal symmetry when spin-orbit coupling is present. We will present results from the fabrication and characterization of Josephson supercurrent diodes using Niobium junctions with a Pt barrier.
