Flexible Control Systems for Distributed Quantum Interconnect Research

Abstract
As research in quantum interconnects advances, the demand for flexible, robust, and scalable control systems becomes critical. In this talk, we will introduce our software control stack designed to support R&D efforts in this rapidly evolving field. Our framework prioritizes seamless device integration, real-time data visualization, and straightforward automation through IDE integration. It is particularly suited for distributed orchestration and non-centralized setups. We will discuss the design principles, technical challenges addressed, and the potential impact on future quantum networking and communication experiments.
