Quantum technologies in Europe

100 years after quantum mechanics was formulated in Europe, the "old continent" remains at the forefront of developments in quantum science and technology, with substantial research and innovation funding programs devoted to its various aspects. In this talk I will outline current progress and future plans in this context.
