Universal Counterdiabatic Control
ORAL
Abstract
Counterdiabatic driving is a tool which may be used to suppress the excitations in quantum systems that arise when a parameter (such as an external magnetic field or laser frequency) are changed. However, these techniques typically require knowledge of the full Hamiltonian beforehand, which may not be known in e.g. encoded quantum annealing problems or systems with disorder. In this work, we demonstrate how counterdiabatic driving protocols may be obtained which require almost no knowledge about the particular details of the system, and yet still provide improvement in the fidelity of prepared quantum states.
