Analysis of Dynamics under Optimal Control in the Adiabatic Regime and its Application to QAOA
ORAL
Abstract
We consider optimal control strategies in the adiabatic regime using optimal control theory. Previous numerical study has suggested that in the adiabatic regime, the optimal control involves characteristic oscillations[1]. In this study, we analyzed the dynamics of this oscillatory control in detail and explain why such control is selected. Additionally, we applied the results of this optimal control to identify parameter regions in QAOA that can be efficiently computed.
