Quantum Sensing at Northrop Grumman

Abstract
Quantum science celebrates its 100 year anniversary this year. In that time numerous transformative new technologies have been born out of the advancements based on our understanding of quantum mechanics. A new generation of sensors are now maturing which will support future Department of Defense missions and enable new capabilities. This talk will give a general overview of quantum sensing activities at Northrop Grumman with particular emphasis on the advancements in inertial sensors and magnetometers, providing insight into the future of GPS denied navigation that they can support.
