Interactive and Integrated Training for Quantum Application Developers across Platforms
ORAL
Abstract
Quantum computers have applications in various industries, such as machine learning, numerical scientific simulation, and finance engineering. As quantum technologies mature and transition from research labs to real-world industry applications, it becomes increasingly important to develop an effective training plan for graduate students and early-career researchers across multiple disciplines who are interested in quantum computing systems, quantum applications, cyber-physical systems, Quantum Physics, Quantum Chemistry, and quantum machine learning. In this project, we build upon existing knowledge, data, and tools to create tailored, high-impact, engaging, collaborative, and integrated training modules for quantum computing cyberinfrastructure research workforce development. The long-term goal of this project is to boost the adoption of new quantum computing cyberinfrastructure to multidisciplinary students and researchers from different STEM domains. In this talk, we outline our training modules and share insights from the lessons we learned during its development.
