Scaling the Control Interface of a Quantum Computer
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
With a variety of qubit technologies now able to perform high-quality quantum logic gates, new challenges are emerging in how to scale-up these devices into complex integrated systems. Architecting a quantum machine at scale is now a co-design problem that combines fundemental physics with nascent chip-packaging approaches, thermal management, cryogenic electronics, and software frameworks. This talk will highlight some of the daunting systems-level challenges emerging in quantum computing and efforts to devise solutions that can enable quantum machines to scale.
