gwModels: a modular Python-based package for generating gravitational waveforms using semi-analytical, data-driven, and post-Newtonian approximations
POSTER
Abstract
The gwModels package is a modular Python-based tool for generating gravitational waveforms using semi-analytical, data-driven, and post-Newtonian (PN) approximations. It currently includes PN expressions for non-spinning binaries and a PN-based eccentric waveform model named EccentricIMR. The package also features two easy-to-use frameworks, gwNRHME and gwNRXHME, to seamlessly convert a multi-modal, non-precessing quasi-circular waveform into a multi-modal eccentric waveform when a quadrupolar eccentric waveform is available. Using these frameworks, gwModels provides access to three eccentric, non-spinning models: NRHybSur3dq8-gwNRHME, BHPTNRSur1dq1e4-gwNRHME, and IMRPhenomTHM-gwNRHME. In this poster, we provide a brief overview of these frameworks and models. This package is available at https://github.com/tousifislam/gwModels.
