Ground State of Dimer Decorated ABAB Triangular Lattice and Relevance to 6-H Perovskites

Abstract
I will present a phase diagram of the dimer decorated ABAB triangular lattice using numerical and analytical techniques, specifically looking at the difference between dipole and SU(N) models and the potential for multi-q magnetic order. This phase diagram will be applied to the 6-H perovskites, with specific attention to Ba3ZnRu2O9 and Ba3CaRu2O9, the former having been identified as a spin-liquid candidate, and the latter thought of as highly interacting dimers. The Hamiltonians derived from neutron scattering data will be discussed in the context of the phase diagram.
