Systematics of the three-band Hubbard model from density matrix embedding theory
ORAL
Abstract
Cuprates are among the group of materials with the highest critical superconducting temperatures, Tc. Understanding the precise mechanisms of unconventional superconductivity as well as finding materials with higher Tc is very desirable. The three-band Hubbard model is a simplified model for the cuprates. Density matrix embedding theory (DMET) increases the range of accurate calculations to larger systems. Using DMET, we study trends of superconducting properties, such as the pairing order, with Hubbard parameters modelling real cuprates.
