Beyond-classical experiments on a trapped-ion quantum processor

Abstract
Recent advancements in quantum computing hardware have created a growing divide between the computational powers of classical and quantum systems. In this talk, I will highlight recent progress in beyond-classical experiments on the 56-qubit Quantinuum H2 trapped-ion quantum processor. The talk will cover the power of all-to-all quantum circuits to frustrate classical simulability and prospects for practical applications, among other topics.
