Kinetics of transport of indirect excitons in van der Waals heterostructure
ORAL
Abstract
Spatially indirect excitons (IXs), also known as interlayer excitons, in van der Waals heterostructures (HS) composed of atomically thin layers of transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMD) were studied. The long-range IX transport with the 1/e decay distances reaching 100 microns was recently found [Zhiwen Zhou et. al., Nature Photonics 18, 823 (2024)]. We measured and analyzed the IX transport kinetics in the regime of long-range transport. These studies revealed the IX velocity.
