Abstract
The APS Office of External Affairs (OEA) is hosting a special event that highlights two recently completed science policy reports from the APS Panel on Public Affairs (POPA). The reports are titled, "Strategic Ballistic Missile Defense - Challenges to Defending the United States" and "Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide Removal - a Physical Science Perspective".
The event will start with an overview of POPA reports -- their history, importance, impacts -- by OEA leadership (5-10 min). This will be followed by talks from the lead authors of each report .
