Panel Discussion of National Academies' Report on High Magnetic Field Science and Technology in the U.S.

The National Academies recently published a report on "The Current Status and Future Direction of High-Magnetic-Field Science and Technology in the United States" (2024). This report is a sequel to previous studies from 1979, 2005, and 2013. Three members of the committee that wrote this report constitute the panel that will discuss the report at this evening session. They will first give an overview of the report, followed by a question-and-answer discussion with the audience. The panel members are as follows:
