Beyond Curvature: A Hidden Dimension's Role in Universe Dynamics with Standard Model Implications
ORAL
Abstract
We propose a previously unknown spatial dimension that has the same attributes as the other three dimensions. Being orthogonal to them, this leads to two degrees of freedom Universe expansion, parallel and orthogonal to spacetime curvature. There was an initial impetus of unknown origin and magnitude that caused the Universe to expand normal to spacetime curvature. As the Universe expanded normal to spacetime curvature, mass density and spacetime curvature decreased increasing the rate of expansion normal to spacetime curvature - 3D space unwinding into 4D space.
While this sequence follows unknown algorithms - it should be possible to define these algorithms based on measured Universe parameters. Step one in validation would be for a mathematician to take the proposed four spatial dimensions and two degrees of freedom Universe expansion to show it fully accounts for dark energy.
Understanding how this works will reduce quantum, particle, and plasma turbulence/uncertainty bringing quantum computers and fusion reactors closer to reality. This may lead a path beyond the standard model opening future horizons like solving the energy crises and taking scarce resources out the geopolitical calculus.
