Photoinduced Structural and Spin Polarization in Hybrid Perovskites

ORAL · Invited

Abstract

Hybrid perovskites have emerged as versatile materials with exceptional optoelectronic properties, offering promising avenues for applications in photovoltaics, light-emitting diodes, and spintronic devices. We explores the interplay between photoinduced structural dynamics and spin polarization in hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites, shedding light on their potential for advanced multifunctional applications. I will begin with our recent observations of controlling and probing hidden polar states in halide perovskites. This approach allows us to drive the polar domains, potentially advancing the non-invasive ferroic applications of these materials. I will then present our recent work on chiral hybrid perovskites, focusing on the observation of circularly polarized nonlinear optical activity and the understanding of excited state spin-relaxation dynamics in chiral perovskites. These studies provide crucial insights into advancing halide perovskites for applications in microelectronics and spintronics.
