Quantum gravity on noisy quantum computers
ORAL
Abstract
We study a well-known model of quantum gravity known as SYK (Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev) model on IBM quantum computers. Using several different error mitigation techniques, we compare to exact diagonalization and find good agreement to circuits with CNOT depth of 300 for two observables - return probability and four-point correlators. We also comment on our follow-up work on thermal state preparation in this model using variational methods.
