Transport properties of misfit layered superconductors

ORAL

Abstract

Two-dimensional (2D) superconductivity is a good platform for investigating quantum phenomena. Recently, bulk 2D superconductors, where superconducting layers are well separated by non-superconducting block layers and behave as a 2D superconductor in a bulk form, has been intensively studied [1,2]. Among them, misfit layered compound, which consists of alternately stacked layers with incompatible unit cells [3,4], is a unique material, offering a new opportunity for exploring low dimensional superconductivity. In this work, we report transport properties of misfit layered superconductors, which is composed of superconducting transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) layers and insulating block layers.
