Progress on low-overhead fault-tolerant quantum computing based on high-rate LDPC codes
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
Quantum LDPC codes have become an increasingly attractive approach for efficient fault-tolerant quantum computing over the last several years. In this talk, I will review code constructions and survey recent results on performing fault-tolerant logical operations with few additional qubits. These results have implications for quantum computing architectures and the estimated space and time resources required to implement a quantum algorithm. I will discuss an outlook and some open questions for implementing this promising approach.
