Exploring the X-ray Sky: 25 years of Extragalactic Surveys with Chandra

In the past 25 years, Chandra has devoted tens of millions of seconds to survey the extragalactic sky and allowed us to study in detail the sources that populate the X-ray sky and contribute to the Cosmic X-ray Background. In this talk, I will present some of the highlights from these surveys and the results that changed our understanding of active supermassive black holes evolution.
