Accretion Disk Simulations using SpECTRE
ORAL
Abstract
We present our latest progress in the simulation of a magnetized accretion disk around a Kerr-black hole using SpECTRE. SpECTRE uses a hybrid discontinuous-Galerkin-finite-difference method with high-order finite differencing that is becoming increasingly common in binary merger simulations. We compare the use of spherical coordinates vs multi-patch/multi-block framework. We offer results comparing different numerical schemes for accretion disk simulations.
