Quantum Algorithms and Applications at Google Quantum AI

The Google's Quantum Algorithms and Applications team is dedicated to developing algorithms and tools for practical applications of quantum computers. These projects include the development of new quantum algorithms, application experiments for NISQ and early fault-tolerant architectures, and compilation. Starting from basic concepts of quantum computing, this talk will present recent advances in quantum algorithms and applications and highlight my work on quantum algorithms for simulating quantum systems. It will also discuss open problems and potential future directions, specifically within quantum algorithms.
