ORAL · Invited

Abstract

Since its founding in 2005 by Dr. Robert Beichner, Physical Review Physics Education Research (PRPER) has established itself as the leading archival journal dedicated to the field of Physics Education Research (PER). Over the past two decades, PRPER has played a pivotal role in advancing PER as an important research area within physics, providing a rigorous platform for scholarship that supports and shapes the field’s development. In this talk, I will offer insights into the origins and evolution of PRPER, reflecting on its growth and impact from my perspective as the outgoing Chief Editor.
