Novel Searches at Neutrino Facilities (DPF Talk: Primakoff Award)
ORAL · Invited
Abstract
Current and upcoming neutrino facilities are excellent venues for studying some of the universe's least-understood particles. The phenomenon of neutrino oscillations and neutrinos' interactions present rich opportunities for a deeper understanding of particle physics. At the same time, these facilities offer the ability to discover physics beyond the standard model, associated with the neutrino sector or beyond. In this talk, I will present ongoing work in this vein, where novel ideas are allowing us to broaden the science case for these experimental facilities. With well-designed searches and a close collaboration between the experimental and theoretical communities, we are working to maximize the prospects for new discoveries in the coming decade.
