The R-Process Alliance: Investigations of the R-Process in Globular Clusters and Chemodynamically Tagged Groups

ORAL

Abstract

Highly r-process enhanced metal-poor stars have been found throughout the Local Group, including in dwarf galaxies, globular clusters, and chemodynamically tagged groups (CDTGs) in the Milky Way. The surveys conducted by the R-Process Alliance (RPA) have discovered many of these new stars; additional follow-up observations have produced detailed abundance patterns. In this talk, I will highlight some of our recent discoveries of the nature of r-process nucleosynthesis in these objects, focusing in particular on 3 Milky Way stars that have been grouped in CDTGs and 62 stars in the Milky Way globular cluster, M15.
