Hadronic vacuum polarization in the long-distance window in lattice QCD

Abstract
We present RBC/UKQCD's first ab-initio lattice calculation of the Euclidean long-distance window of the isospin symmetric light-quark connected contribution to the hadronic vacuum polarization for the muon anomalous magnetic moment. Data analysis was performed in a blinded manner. We find a large tension with the result of the data-driven approach.
