The hadronic vacuum polarization contribution to muon g-2 from the Fermilab Lattice, HPQCD and MILC collaboration.

Abstract
We report on the Fermilab Lattice, HPQCD and MILC collaboration's multi-year project to compute the hadronic vacuum polarization (HVP) correction to the muon g-2 from Lattice QCD with few-permille level precision. In particular, we present the complete HVP contribution as well as partial results that facilitate comparison with other lattice QCD determinations. These calculations employ gauge-field ensembles which include up, down, strange, and charm quarks in the sea with masses at close to their physical values. The ensembles cover a large range of lattice spacings, from 0.15 fm down to an unprecedented 0.04 fm, enabling a comprehensive study of the systematic errors.
