A MUSE Analysis Update

Abstract
To date, no high-precision muon-proton scattering experiments have been conducted in response to the proton radius puzzle. The MUon Scattering Experiment (MUSE), operating at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), endeavors to address the puzzle by simultaneously measuring elastic electron-proton and muon-proton scattering from a liquid hydrogen target. MUSE uses leptons in positive and negative charge states, which enables the Experiment to test lepton universality and directly measure two-photon exchange, in addition to its principal objective of extracting form factors and proton radii. Achieving the precision necessary to inform the puzzle requires extensive understanding of the operation of all detector systems in the experiment. In this talk, I will present the status of MUSE's data analysis and place these findings in the context of MUSE's physics objectives.
