Abstract

DMRadio-50L is part of the DMRadio suite of experiments searching for the axion, one of the most compelling dark matter candidates in modern physics. Currently in its commissioning stage, DMRadio-50L is a lumped-element detector that probes axions in the O(kHz - MHz) range. It is also acting as an innovation platform and technology test bed for quantum sensors to enable a next-generation search for GUT-scale axions in this mass region with DMRadio-GUT. Current status and commissioning results will be presented.
